The Flag Proudly Waves
A treasure to the USA
Proudly flying on display
As an emblem it unfolds
The freedom established by the bold.
Our forefathers put a plan in motion
That covers our land from ocean to
ocean.
They declared our country to be
free,
And that man should have a
democracy.
The right to choose freedom of
speech
To elect our leaders and to impeach.
To live together, yet independently,
To assure the right of liberty.
The red, white and blue proudly
waves,
The stars and stripes honor the
brave.
Soldiers who serve to keep our
rights
They help maintain, by day and
night.
Though things have changed since
1776,
Our country still carries on, although with
conflicts.
But the pride and honor will always be
there,
If we as Americans will show that we
care.
We can carry forth the plan that was
laid,
To give us freedom in the land of the
brave.
Support your country with honor and
conviction,
And we will carry on, this great
tradition.
Happy 4th of July to every man, woman and
child,
Hold high the FLAG though sometimes meek and
mild.
Proud to be an American in heritage
and FAITH,
Thanking GOD for HIS AMAZING GRACE!
