The True Gift The Night Before Christmas The time for joy is drawing
near, Time to spread good news and cheer. For months the toys have been
displayed, Just waiting to be purchased for that day.
The ground
is covered with fluffy snow While shoppers are busily on the go. Looking
for a wagon for little Ben And a cute teddy just right for
Jenny. When children all over come bounding down, The stairs
to glimpse what's laying 'round. The Christmas tree is twinkling
bright, With lots of toys for the their delight.
 It is a happy
time of year I suppose, But what about ones that hardly have
clothes. Forget about toys, they are far and few between, There's never
enough money, the bank is lean.
While many are busy preparing for
Christmas There are still many that settle for less. Just another day for
them it turns out, Nothing waiting for to be happy
about. Besides the toys and trimmings galore, Let's not forget
the reason for joy. The Birthday of the King we celebrate, And every year
it is simply great. Christmas, a time to celebrate the King To
give honor for the joy HE brings. The real reason to celebrate His
Life And give to others who are deprived. So give to those who
are without, And learn what Christmas is all about. No greater gift on
earth is left, But the gift of giving of yourself. Written by
